New flood defences

We are raising £40,000 to provide money towards new flood defences for Ben Rhydding Hockey Club after damage caused by recent flooding which has damaged the new pitch beyond repair and will need replacement before the new 2021 season.

Story

Our Mens hockey development squad will travel 2020km in episodes of walking or running before Christmas day, to raise money towards pitch repairs and developing new flood defences for Ben Rhydding Sports Club.

Ben Rhydding Sports Club (BRSC) is a multi-sports venue offering hockey, football, cricket, bowls, croquet & tennis facilities together with a clubhouse including changing rooms, bar, catering and meeting rooms. Based in Ilkley with over 500 members of all ages, BRSC is a key part of the community.
