Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some people may know in July 2017 I sadly lost my grandfather after a short fight with cancer. In his memory, I have set myself a target of raising £5000 for Marie Curie through a few events across the year.
Sunderland 2018 Boxing Day Dip
I did this with my mam, Alex on a very fresh 7oC day in December and it gave me a terrific start towards my target. A massive thank you to all who donated.
National Three Peaks Challenge in May 2019
Over the early May bank holiday weekend of 4th-6th May, I will be climbing the three biggest peaks of Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon). I will be joined on the challenge by my brother in law, Phil, and by dad, Paul. Whilst I am expecting it to be tough, I will be using this event as training for the main challenge in June.
Canadian Rockies Trek in June 2019
From the 22nd-30th June I will be trekking through the Canadian Rockies, from Lake Louise to Banff, and whilst I will be hoping to spot a Grizzly or Black bear, hopefully they will not get too close. The challenge is organised by World Expeditions and Marie Curie and I will be joining a group of 10-20 people all raising money.
Further information on the amount of walking I will be doing and what the money can be used to do can be found on the Marie Curie website on the link below.

Donations to any or all of the events would be greatly appreciated by me and Marie Curie. I am covering all costs of the trips myself so all the money raised will go direct to Marie Curie.
