Story
After running the 2021 London Marathon I vowed never to run again, but since my son Oscar has been born my Mum (Joan Griffiths) has never been more in my thoughts and I have a burning desire to run the London Marathon one more time and this time in the Yellow Vest of the Severn Hospice.
When my was sick with Pancreatic Cancer we watched the London Marathon together. She was a keen runner and said she always wanted to run the London Marathon.
Any donation large or small would be greatly appreciated in this tough times for a wonderful Charity which gave Mum such good care when she most needed it most.
I didn't know much about the Hospice before Mum fell ill, but I will never forget what they did and will never stop flying their flag.
I am officially out of running retirement and London 2023 is calling....
The Severn Hospice provides specialist care and emotional support for families in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales living with an incurable illness. All our care is provided for free, but it is not without cost - we have to raise £2 for every £3 we spend. It's because you care that we can.
