Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After a 7 year hiatus I decided it was time to hit the streets of London and take part in another London Marathon. So this year I am running to support the hospice and the remarkable work they do.

Both Zoe's grandparents, Phyll and Harry, were cared for at the
end of their lives at the hospice and the service they received made the pain we went through as a family much more bearable. St Francis go above and beyond for patients and families to ensure they are as comfortable and peaceful at the end as they can be.

After last autumns Abingdon Marathon, I thought it would be easy... a month or 2 off from weekend long runs then back on it. How wrong was I. It now feels like a lifetime I have been getting up early to run 18+ miles each weekend, in all season, heatwaves, snow,  rain, wind, I've pretty much covered it all and I can't wait to cross the finish line and take another hiatus... but maybe not as long as the last one :)
