Neil was tragically killed in Malaysia on 6th August 2014 whilst on his elective from Newcastle Medical School.

His death has devastated his family and many friends. We have been deeply touched by the many cards and messages of support from all his friends at home in Derbyshire, Newcastle University and elsewhere.

Neil loved a challenge and had completed several events including the Great North Run, the Vienna Marathon and the coast to coast cycle ride, raising funds for Anthony Nolan and other charities.

Neil was always one to care about and to think of others and we are sure he would want us to continue to raise money for Anthony Nolan. He joined their stem registry in 2012. (Neil's Anthony Nolan Ref number is 1985315.)

We will all miss him terribly.
