On July 20th I am going to be cycling 472 miles in 7 days across the US state of Iowa on the annual RAGBRAI ride (www.ragbrai.org).

The event is not a race but does have a serious side to it given the daily distances, extremes of climate and terrain.

I will be riding to raise as much money for Delmelza Children's Hospice - our chosen charity here at Alsford Timber. I have chosen this site as a vehicle to collect money because it will also ensure anything you can pledge will receive 25% Giftaid and a 3% supplement both funded through the Treasury (if you are a UK tax payer).
