UPDATE - Bike Ride completed 14th Oct 2008 This was one of the HARDEST challenges I have ever met but we did it! The scenery was fantastic, the people we cycled with us were great company and kept me going. Couldn't have managed it with out my Dad driving the support van even if he did eat all the profiteroles one night! Along with a few friends of my Dad, we are cycling around Mont Blanc this October setting off from Chamonix on the 11th. It's a 400km route through the Alps, we'll be tackling a few big hills and some even bigger. It should take us four days and we'll be climbing a total of 10,000m. I should point out that my Dad will not be on a bike  but acting as support driver.

I am raising money on behalf of The Maggies Centres. This is in memory of 2 people who were important to me but sadly died in May of this year - my Grandma who passed away from an aggressive form of leukemia and Grant Mackenzie a very popular teacher at Stewarts Melville College in Edinburgh who tragically died  from an aggressive brain tumour. The Maggies supports people dealing with different types of cancer and was a support to Grandma and Macca as well as to those who cared for them.
