Story
In March 2020 as the world was going into lockdown I was confirmed as having Prostate Cancer. Within 2 weeks I'd had surgery. I count myself extremely lucky. It was the last operation that Declan, my fantastic surgeon, did for 6 weeks given COVID. Prostate Cancer effects 1 in 8 men. If you're over 50, or you're black or your dad or brother had it, you're at even higher risk.
I’m doing 4 events: the Tour of Flanders, the Loch Ness Etape, London to Amsterdam and, finally, in June will be joining the fantastic team of riders that will support Gareth Lyon on 2 legs (Southend - Sandwich - Peacehaven) of his epic ride (4,160 miles) around the coast of Britain and raise invaluable funds for Prostate Cancer UK
