Story
Bethesda Hospice provides 4 hospice beds for palliative care and 21 care home beds. Bethesda offers a vital and caring service to those who are terminally ill and those who need nursing care on our remote Western Isles. Bethesda also provides ‘care for carers’ too, by treating each person as a whole person, with many needs - physical, emotional, spiritual and social, Staff have the training and the time to take care of the whole family, not just the patient.
We know the value of Hospices as my Dad died in a hospice and the care he received and support afterwards made a very challenging time so much more bearable. Ruth has talked about the importance of Bethesda’s work and this is why we have chosen to support them.
Every £1 you can pledge will make a huge difference to Bethesda and motivate Ruth and me as we battle headwinds, torrential rain and hopefully some sunshine.
Please help us reach our £1000 goal. 😊 we are cycling on 20-22nd July as part of the Butt2Barra cycle team.
