Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On the 9th September, Rob and myself are participating in The Great North Run 2018 for the ‘My Name’5 Doddie Foundation’, which is raising funds to aid research into Motor Neurone Disease. Doddie Weir, a Scotland Rugby International and a member of the victorious British and Irish Lions team during their tour of South Africa in 1997, was diagnosed with MND in mid-2017. His response has been to use his profile to highlight MND and make a difference to the lives of those coping and battling with Motor Neurone Disease. Rob hasn’t run a Half-Marathon before and my first and last one was in 1987. If you can support us on the 9th we would both really appreciate it. (Neil Holmes).
