Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Following in the footsteps of the Stars I have volunteered to take part in this marvellous opportunity to raise funds for Quarriers. I face three challenges……. climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, getting fit and losing two stones before the Trek…….. I don’t know which one is the most daunting!! .......That is why I need your support and encouragement to help Quarriers.

Quarriers, having been established for 130 years and is a very deserving Charity which provides a very diverse range of services in Scotland. Their highly trained, professional staff have the expertise and experience to support and care for:

Adults and children with a physical or learning disability

Children and families facing poverty, family breakdown, exclusion and disadvantage

Young people who find it difficult to cope with mainstream school or with growing up

Homeless young people experiencing exclusion, lack of self-esteem and a multitude of other daily problems.

People with epilepsy requiring assessment, diagnosis and support for their condition

Carers of all ages needing support, advice or just a friend to listen to them

So please dig deep and donate now to...... "Help Others Climb Their Mountains"
