As Service Manager of Trust House Lincolnshire i`m tasked with ensuring sufficient funding is in place to provide services to those that have experienced rape and sexual assault. As a service we currently provide 90 weekly counselling sessions (Free) and have no time constraints with regards to sessions. Clients are often with us for 12 months with ages ranging from 4 to mid 70`s. We provide services to Men, Women, Girls and Boys regardless of ethnicity and religion. We rely on a pool of counselling volunteers (32) and a further 5 support Volunteers, myself and 2 others make up the rest of the team.

Sadly we have a shortfall in funding and rely on the generosity of the public resulting in fundraising events throughout the year. Clients have demonstrated the need of my service and have managed to regain control of their lives following awful events that have happened to them. From being able to finally hold down a healthy relationship to gaining full time employment. Services such as mine are rare and more and more clients are coming forward showing an ever increasing need for help. Your donation will help massively in the sustainability of Trust House Lincolnshire and ANY donation small or large will be used directly for the benefit of our  clients.

In preparation for the half marathon I have been getting up at 5:30 to train and have manged 10 milers, not bad for my sizeable frame! Its hard work, but certainly worth it for my service and clients.
