On the 16th April 2012, Links Park Community Trust launched with one very simple goal, to utilise the power and widespread appeal of football to inspire change, improving lives and the community in the process.

Ten years on, following a rebrand, Montrose Community Trust, typically, engage with well over 1,000 individuals, each and every week, from the age of 1 to 90+ through an extensive range of programmes.

In addition to their all-inclusive, mainstream community football programme, they seek to support those most in need in our community, such as those that are unemployed, living with dementia, experiencing food insecurity, recovering from an addiction, disengaged from school, suffering from poor mental health and/or living in isolation.

I want to raise as much as possible to help the Trust deliver the support for those most in need.

So on the 24th June 2022 I will be hurtling down Europes fastest zipline on the Velocity 2 at Zip World, Penrhyn Quarry in Wales at a speed in excess of 100 miles an hour!
