Virtual Lands End to John O'Groats, 6 March 2021
Tackling the Mental Health Emergency in Leeds

Story

Getting out and cycling to work has really helped improve my mental health.  So I've decided to do a Lands End to John O'Groats virtual cycle challenge. I've set a target of 8 weeks to cycle the equivalent distance, that's a total of 1,083 miles

I'm doing this to raise money for Leeds Mind. I've just the services Leeds Mind offer a lot over the years to help with my own mental health problems. I suffer with depression & anxiety.

This time last year I suffered a mental breakdown and this is part of my ongoing recovery from that.

Our VisionBetter mental health for all - The aim of our work is to help people build on their strengths, overcome obstacles, and become more in control of their lives. We have faith and optimism in our clients and so the services we deliver are built around their needs. We support the people of Leeds to discover their own resources to ‘recover’ from periods of poor mental health, and to live life independently with their mental health condition.
