Story

As part of my 60th year celebrations and challenges I entered the ballot for the London Marathon 2023. Luckily I managed to secure a place via my local club, Haddington Running Club.

I last ran in the London Marathon in 1997 and wanted to take part in this iconic event again, raising money for a very worthwhile cause.

I’m raising money for The MyName’5 Doddie Foundation. The Foundation has two aims: Firstly, to raise funds for research into causes of MND and investigate potential cures, and, secondly, make grants available to sufferers of MND and enable them to live as fulfilled a life as possible.

I’ve worked for 30 years providing people with various disabilities, equipment that enables them to be independent at home and in the community. I’ve seen first-hand how MND can affect families and individuals.

Any donation to this most worthwhile cause would be greatly
appreciated. Let’s Kick MND into Touch
