This Summer, for two weeks in June,  I am going with a group of 7 Bath Uni students to Romania to help out in orphanages for children and young adults. The charity 'Cry in the Dark', which runs the orphanage 'Casa Lumina' has done a great job in caring for the disabled young people who live in in it, and the state-run orphanages have much improved in recent years. I will be helping out with the children and young people, playing games and doing sports and other activities with them to keep them active and happy :)

All donations will go mainly to helping various charities connected to the orphanage. Some will go towards buying more activities for the kids. A bit of it will go towards translators so we can interact better with the young Romanians! We will be paying for all flights and food out of our own money.
