I am running my first 10k in memory of a work colleague who tragically took his own life last year. 7,000 people in the UK take their own life each year and 90% of people who die by suicide have a mental health condition at the time of their death

Suicide is the leading cause of death for young men, Many people who experience suicidal thoughts describe being overwhelmed by negative emotions and feeling like ending their life is the only way out. However, by talking to someone and getting the support necessary it is possible to find a way forward and other options. Raising money for Mind will help others get help they need
