Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
So one day in the car on route to Stanwick lakes with my running partner Shell for our long sunday run and she turns to me and say's she has signed her and I up to run Brighton Marathon for Niamhs Next Step at first I was shocked and didn't believe her and tried to laugh it off but when it dawned on me she was being serious I was excited but equally honoured she had thought of me to join her in the task of raising much needed donations for the charity Niamhs Next Step.
I had heard of the charity and knew it was cancer related but didn't know the full story.
Below is a brief statement taken from the website:-

"Neuroblastoma is an aggresive cancer that mainly affects children. Around 100 children are diagnosed with Neuroblastoma each year in the UK of which only around 30% will survive. Our goals are to raise money and awareness of Neuroblastoma whilst offering help, support and advice to children and families affected by this aggressive childhood cancer. Other aims are to help fund much needed research and education programs and help improve all round treatment of Neuroblastoma. Please donate and help us help other families during the toughest fight of their lives. In memory of our amazing little girl Niamh.
Some of you may be aware but I have had my own experience of cancer at a very young age so I have an idea what it's like to suffer from it but my chances of survival were higher and I'm lucky enough to be here to tell the tale. I can't imagine what it would be like for a child to suffer from any form of cancer let alone Neuroblastoma.
By donating today you will be providing much needed funds for research and education programs to help families through the toughest fight of their lives.
