Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Stupidly (or not) i am attempting to do this for the first time, I haven't even been running for a year yet! But to motivate me to do it I knew I needed a charity that meant something to me.

It was a toss up between this or the British Heart foundation (both would have been because of my two granda's) but I know That my Granda Bill would have said do it for Motor Neurone as this is what my Granda Jim suffered from and if anyone has any experience of this disease they will know it is not a pleasant thing to live with.

"Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones.
Degeneration of the motor neurones leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing."

As a famous supermarket says, every little helps, and i really need the support, thanks
