Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I decided at the start of April 2020 that I would run a 10k everyday to support Duodenal Cancer Research as my friend Steven Black lost his short battle with Duodenal Cancer early this year. Iโd like to raise funds to help support and prevent other families suffering from this terrible disease.
Duodenal Cancer is very rare and difficult to detect until it is too late therefore, greater research is required into screening and treatment for this aggressive cancer.
From 1st April to date I've ran 374 days of 10K - 3740kms!!!
Any money raised will go to the Beatson Cancer charity, specifically into research for advanced screening and testing of Duodenal cancer.

๐๐พโโ๏ธ31/3/21, Iโve now completed my 365 days of 10k runs for my Beatson Cancer Charity challenge in memory of my friend Steven Black.
However, I will be continuing to run past this milestone and on Saturday 10th April, day 375 I would like to invite my friends and followers to join me on a final lap of the 10k route I have pounded over the past year. You can either run or cycle but whatever please come along.
If you can find time to come along we will be meeting at the Thornhill Community Hall at 1.30pm and start the run at 2pm. There will be tea/coffee and cakes at the end.
We will be observing the Covid rules and social distancing running will be the rules on the day.
Hope to see you there. Kind regards Neil ๐๐พโโ๏ธ
