We provide vital services to end homelessness in Northern Ireland

Story

Every year our local community comes together to decorate our huge 15 metre tall Christmas Tree with thousands of lights.  It really brings a great community and Christmas spirit to our entire neighbourhood and across the wider area as it can be seen from a large part of Holywood.

Many people come from all over to have a look at our tree so we use this as a way to raise awareness of homelessness and to raise funds for the Simon Community NI.

In 2021 we raised enough to give 100 homeless people a Christmas Dinner to also bring a little joy to their own lives.

Simon Community Northern Ireland believes everyone should have a place to call home. They are Northern Ireland’s leading homelessness charity & the largest provider with 21 emergency and temporary accommodation based services offering 464 beds and a warm welcome, every night of the year. Each year they support over 3,000 people who find themselves without a home.
