Story

Welcome to the fundraising page for Rob Burrow's.

Hi, I am Neil Herbert I'm approaching my 66th birthday and running my first ever marathon. I was so overwhelmed to have gained a place in the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon 2023 because it's for such a great cause, MND.

Please support me in raising as much money as possible for charity. Every donation, no matter how small, will help to make a difference to the lives of those affected by MND

Rob Burrow is a legendary rugby league player who played for Leeds Rhinos for 16 years and won 8 Super League Grand Finals. In 2019, Rob was diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND), a progressive and incurable illness that affects the nerve cells responsible for controlling muscles. Despite this devastating diagnosis, Rob has shown incredible bravery and resilience in raising awareness about MND and supporting others affected by the disease.

Monies raised from my run in the The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon 23 will bring us closer to achieving our ultimate mission; a world free from MND & Prostate Cancer.

Thanks for your support,

Regards

Neil.
