With fundraising events cancelled and no clear indication of when we can open our shops or how long it will take them to return to normal trading, the South Oxfordshire Palliative Care Hub anticipate a funding gap of £1.5m for this financial year.

Story

In loving memory of an amazing Mother / Grandmother June Hartstone, Jake her grandson will be Braving the Shave to raise some much needed funds for the Sue Ryder Nurses who gave such amazing care and support when we sadly lost Nana to Cancer on the 16th May last year.

Jake absolutely hates having his hair cut, to the extent that he would only let the hairdresser near him if he was wearing swimming goggles. His lockdown hair is now out of control and a cut is overdue, and even though he doesn’t like having short hair he has decided to be brave and raise some money for charity at the same time.

The nurses at the Sue Ryder Hospice provide incredible emotional support as well as specialist medical care to people who are finding themselves in unimaginably difficult circumstances. Every pound you give could make the difference to whether they can be there or not when other people need them most as we did
