In July 2022, my friends Dave and Gemma tragically and unexpectedly lost their 7 year old son Freddie. 

Their world totally revolved around Freddie and his younger brother Harry and Freddie’s loss has left a huge void in their lives. 

Having supported Bodie Hodges Foundation themselves, Dave, Gemma and Harry are now receiving their support in return. 

I’d like to raise as much as I can to support Bodie Hodges Foundation in order to ensure that they can continue supporting families who suffer such tragic loss. 

Bodie Hodges Foundation: We are a family who following the death of our beautiful 10-month-old son, Bodie, wanted to offer support to other bereaved families. The death of a child is isolating and lonely and it can be hard to ask for help or know how we want to be supported. We were blessed to be given time away from home to spend time as a family and to show our daughter that life would somehow continue and that out of tragedy comes hope. The Bodie Hodges Foundation was formed in 2012, to support families who have been bereaved of a child of any age and to promote organ donation. Our vision is to give hope to families bereaved of a child by providing a range of services that support grieving families and encourage them to rebuild and remember.
