Neil's 2022 Mile Cycle Challenge · 1 January 2022

We’re your local hospice, supporting people with life-limiting illness across Cheshire West and Deeside. Our care is free, but only possible thanks to your support. We’re not part of the NHS and rely on local generosity to keep going. By donating, you ensure vital care lives on in your community.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

During 2022, I am taking on the challenge of cycling 2022 miles in support of the Hospice of the Good Shepherd as I am aware of the challenges that charities have and continue to face during these uncertain times. During this challenge, I will burn approximately 100,000 calories!

As a volunteer at the Hospice, I understand how important the services they provide are to people in the community and how every penny counts.

To give you an idea of how your sponsorship will help, I have listed some examples below.

  • £55 could pay for art materials for a child bereavement memory box.
  • £150 could pay for one days child bereavement service.
  • £500 could pay to run an inpatient bed for one day.
  • £1000 could pay for a group remembering day for 10-15 children.
  • £7785 could pay for direct patient services for a day.

Please give what you can. No matter how small or large your donation, you will be making a big difference to people with life limiting illnesses and their families.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
