We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

Having retired on 31st January, I wanted a challenge.  The North Coast 500 is a circular 500 mile route (plenty far enough for me!) in Scotland, starting and finishing in Inverness.

I am raising money for Alzheimer's Research UK partly because my mother died 3 years ago whilst suffering from Dementia with Lewi-Bodies.  Dementia is an ever growing issue - I believe ARUK is a leading organisation helping towards eventually beating it.

I am also raising money for the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association UK (donate via separate page) because my 18 month old niece suffers from this rare condition.

Finally, closer to home, I am raising money for my local village football team: West & Middle Chinnock FC - grassroots football is always in need of financial support!
