Calais to Champagne Challenge 2010

Over the past four years a group of friends in my home village of Hadlow have been keeping fit by cycling, and each year we look to conquer a new cycling challenge and try to raise some money along the way.
This has taken us to Paris on a three day ride, Le Puy on an 8 day 680 mile ride and more modestly last year 100 miles in a day around Kent. In that time we have raised in the region of £3000 for various local charities including Kent Air Ambulance, Demelzas Childrens Hospice and the Save Hadlow Tower.Action Group.
This year's challenge is a 3 day, approximately 300 mile ride from Calais to caves of Moet et Chandon at Epernay in Champagne. My chosen charity this year is the British Heart Foundation for whom I have previously raised funds in memory of my late brother Paul who died of a heart condition at only 26 in 1992.
To make your sponsorship more interesting a prize of a bottle of Moet's finest is on offer for the individual who guesses to the nearest tenth of a mile the total miles covered.
Thank you and good luck.
