Story

Having previously
completed the London 46 in 2017 and the London 100 in 2018 I am pleased to let
you all know that I will be taking part in the London 100 on behalf of
Bloodwise on the 4th of August 2019.

After months of spin
classes and evenings/weekends spent training on the hills of West Kent, I am
prepared to take on on this tough challenge I would love your support and help
me raise £500 for Bloodwise.

My first attempt of the
London 100 was extremely tough with cold and wet weather conditions, making
this challenging route around London and Surrey harder than I had imagined. So
this time I hope that the weather holds off and that I can beat 6 hours 30
minutes around the picturesque circuit.

I have chosen to support
bloodwise as Blood cancer is the third biggest cancer killer and it’s growing –
it takes more lives every year than prostate or breast cancer. Blood cancer can
affect people of any age, gender or race, and it’s the most common cancer in
children and young adults. Bloodwise has funded 4 out of 5 blood cancer
researchers, and great progress has been made with many major cancer
medicine advances coming first from blood cancer research.

There is much more for
bloodwise to do – so please support me on the London 100 and lets help to
beat blood cancer.
