Over the last year or so Macmillan cancer care have give in so much help to my family, I have put myself through some pretty serious discomfort to help give a little back. 

At the end of May, I climbed on my bike in Cornwall and clung on for 8 days, before stepping off in the far north of Scotland.

The numbness, the blisters, the chaffing, the sunburn (ha-ha), the throwing up, the drastic weight loss, the headaches, the gastric infection, the early mornings, and the tendonitis was all worthwhile if it helps convince you guys to give just a few pence for each of the claimed 874 miles (I made it 908)  from Lands End to John O'Groats.
