Story
The story behind me to fund raise for Penny Appeal goes back to when I used to live in Kenya and have seen children walking on streets with no footwear at times, drinking dirty water and begging for food whilst people walk past.
Penny Appeal is raising all this money to build Deep Water Wells in Africa. Clean water is one of the true essentials of life and is vital for the survival of communities. By building a well, whether a traditional tube well or a deep-water well, you're giving a gift to an entire village community, one that will keep on giving for generations to come.
The money that I raise will go towards the thirst relief campaign, which provides clean water to poor rural communities across the world, giving them safe water for drinking, cooking and cleaning and the chance to break out of the poverty cycle.
I am hoping to change all that (with your help of course) to having deep water wells built so families can easily access clean water. I am going to be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro which is the tallest mountain in Africa at 19000ft above Sea Level. It will be a tough challenge but nothing compared to what families go through on a daily basis to get clean water.
I am going to be doing this challenge in memory of my uncle Bijal Dodhia, he has always been an inspiration to me and im going to make him proud!
