Story

Hello everyone! I am raising money for QMC wards E39 and E40 ( children’s oncology and neurology ) and the children’s physiotherapy unit.

The fantastic people working tirelessly in these areas are absolutely amazing. I dearly want to raise money for them all as they were there for us when our son, and little brother to Josh, Aiden Minhas, received treatment for a grade 4 brain tumour.

From the diagnosis, to treatment and ever hopeful recovery, had it not been for the staff we would not have had the strength to continue.

Aiden sadly passed away in 2017 but his spirit and zest for life lives on in us all - thank you Aiden ❤️

The treatment was gruelling and the journey so very hard but we will always be grateful for every single member of staff we met during our very lengthy stays (and returns) to hospital.

I’ll be doing the abseil with my dear friend, Sara Lomas, who is an amazing, caring and  brave woman fighting her own fight and raising money for her cause xx
