Story
I’m shaving my hair for charity, and I probably should have
chosen the summer months to do this but hey #PassThatWoollyHatHun! Do Day 1st January 2021. New Year, new do.
People always ask “What’s MND?”
Motor Neurone Disease is a life limiting condition that affects the brain and nerves. Messages from the motor neurones gradually stop reaching the muscles causing them to weaken and waste. MND affects your ability to talk, eat, drink, breathe and walk. It takes away all of your independence.
5000 people in the UK are living with MND at any one time and there is currently no cure or treatment.
My handsome, hardworking, sporty Dad who loves a good party (love you Dad) was diagnosed with MND 18 months ago. The MND Association and Marie Curie are providing the most amazing support and help, guiding us as a family every step along this cruel disease. The MND Association is funded by donations for research and providing help and care for patients.
So, my way of saying thank you to the MND Association is to raise awareness and ask you for a little help, if you could spread the word and
donate big or small it would be most appreciated. #HelpUsBeatMotorNeuroneDisease.
