Story

Team NCW are super keen cyclists from Worcestershire that are riding the legendary Etape du Dales to fundraise for New College Worcester.

The Etape du Dales is a stunning ride through some
of the UK's most remote and scenic countryside. The route of 110 miles covers many of the county's major climbs and the dales of Wharfedale, Littondale, Wensleydale, Swaledale, Arkengarthdale, Birkdale, Garsdale, Dentdale, Ribblesdale - AND there is not a single set of traffic lights on the whole route!

NCW is a national, residential, special School and College for young people aged 11 to 19 who are blind or vision impaired.

Every student at NCW has a tailored programme, carefully planned and delivered to meet their individual needs in three key areas; academic achievement, independent living skills and involvement in extracurricular activities.

The opportunities provided to students in these three areas of provision play a crucial role in the development of confidence and self-esteem as well as preparing for life beyond our College.
