Story
As some of you will know, Lewis and I will be stepping into the ring on the 26th February, as part of an N-Courage team of big and little warriors, to raise funds for Scottish Autism, which is based in our local area.
Both Lewis and I have a formal diagnosis of Autism and know through our own struggles, how vital support organisations are to many families around Scotland, who are struggling with the complexities of everyday living that a diagnosis of Autism can bring. regardless of where we are on the spectrum.
Lewis will be fighting for the 2nd time having won his first fight night match in Feb 2020 and has his sight set on achieving a Fight Champion’s belt on the night! 🤞🏻🥊🏆
I will be also fighting on the night after 5 months of gruelling blood, sweat and tears training, for the first time ever! I never thought I’d see the day I’d be training like this yet alone fighting in a live boxing/kickboxing event but I’m determined I’m going to do this even though I’m well out my comfort zone!! 😁🥊
I know that Christmas has just left us for another year and money is tight, but both Lewis and I would really appreciate if you all could spare a few pennies and donate to this worthwhile cause on behalf of this dynamic (and slightly crazy!) mother and son fight duo!! 🥰
Many thanks in advance!
Team Story:
Our brave warriors are stepping into the ring for an action packed night of Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Boxing. The night consists of both experienced amateur bouts and first timers taking up the challenge to raise funds for a very worthwhile cause. Many of the team are parents of children with ASD or other additional support needs and are acutely aware of the support Scottish Autism provides.
