I lost one of my best friends last year, Chris, so I'm going to take part in this endurance shoot to try and raise some cash to beat cancer. It will be incredibly difficult for me as I suffer from something called 'target panic', in other sports I think it is called the 'yips', but I WILL DO IT! For those who know little about archery shooting 15 hours non stop is a challenge, I hope to shoot over 600 arrows and in the process will also walk about 6 miles, and each time I pull the bow back I'm pulling about 44lbs, over the whole day that is well over 25,000 lbs. I am also helping to organise the event so will be there at least 2 hours before (4am) and 2 hours after (11pm). So dig deep and sponsor me, even if you didn't know Chris you will know, have known or will know somebody with Cancer, so lets try and beat it.
