Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The four of us ladies met through our work with Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility at the Western General Hospital and at the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh. We quickly discovered our shared love for the outdoors and more specifically, our love for cycling. Over the last year we have turned our hand to long distanced cycling with day adventures from Stirling to Glen Coe in 1 day, Dunbar, The Outer Hebrides in 4 days, Loch Leven and the Kelpies to name a few.

Ana and Jenny completed the Hebridean Way in 3.5 days in 2019, and our most recent adventure together was cycling around the Isle of Skye in 4 days in August 2020. The NC500 will be our biggest challenge to date, covering

Cycling to us is an amazing way to see Scotland, and incredibly rewarding when you finally make it to your destination and both a mental and physical challenge. Most importantly - we have a huge laugh along the way!

We find the outdoors does wonders for our mental health and we are proud advocates of getting that fresh air fix. We would like to do this challenge to raise money for Scottish Association for Mental Health as we believe your mental health is equally important as your physical health.

The enthusiasm for our trips continues to grow - with huge smiles - mile by mile and we cannot wait to get out on this adventure!

Any amount you can donate, 100% will go straight to SAMH to help those in need in Scotland.

Thank you for reading, wish us luck!
