Story
Thank you for visiting North Birmingham Cats Protection's Just Giving page.
Our very own volunteers Jane Holt, Shaki McFarland, Andy Hill and Jane Jones have signed up for a 160 foot abseil down the cliffs of the Avon Gorge on 8th March. Of course, they’re ‘not doing it for fun, but to raise funds for our needy furry friends’.
Says NBCP coordinator, Jane: “Shaki and I have a few concerns – from will we live to will our bums look big in the harness – but we’ve set up this Just Giving page and hope kind cat folk will sponsor us.”
If you’d like to do something abseilutely amazing for Cats Protection too, read on for the official blurb!
This is an amazing opportunity to scale the cliffs of the Avon Gorge, whilst taking in stunning views up and down the river and also the Clifton suspension bridge. The inaugural event in aid of Cats Protection promises to be a challenging and exhilerating experience leaving the participants with memories and an achievement which will stay with them forever.
It would be great if you could sponsor us... Thank you on behalf of all those cats in need on our streets.
