Domestic violence, forced marriage, FGM, discrimination, Islamophobia, mental health stigma - these are just some of the issues which are affecting Muslim women and girls in the UK today and I want to help MWNUK advance equality and improve social justice for such individuals. 

MWNUK run a national faith and culturally sensitive helpline, provide counselling, carry out outreach activities and support individuals in crisis through their hardship fund. 

They also provide training and education through events and workshops, carry out research, produce reports and information resources, carry out campaigns and also engage with the government and wider community to effect changes to law, policy and practice. All of these actions are crucial to making the world a better place for all.
