Insh'Allah on Sunday 10th September 2023 I will be running the prestigious Great North Run (Half Marathon 13.1 Miles) in Newcastle. I will be covering all the associated costs (race fee, hotel, travel & food) so that 100% of your donations goes to the stated cause. Also Insh'Allah on 6th August 2023 I will be running the York 10K Run as part of my build up. Insh’Allah (God willing) IN 3 FEBRUARY 2024 (1 Week). I will be going on a SELF-FUNDED (Paying for my own flight tickets & accomodation) humanitarian aid trip to Uganda in Africa with Nelson-based registered charity, Hope for Mankind (100% Donation Policy). This is the same charity that is building my Uganda Homes for the Poor Ramadan 2023 Project & the £75 Water Pumps.

WITH YOUR SUPPORT I am hoping to raise at LEAST £11,250 to provide 250 Food Parcels costing £45 each (ZAKAT APPLICABLE) & weighing at least 35+KG each.

PLEASE DONATE (ZAKAT APPLICABLE) towards my £45 (35+KG) Food Parcel which will last a poor family of 5 for between 3 to 4 weeks. Each 35+KG Food Parcel will contain the following: 10kg Flour, 10kg Rice, 5KG Cooking Oil, 5KG Beans, 2KG Sugar, 1KG Dow Flour, 5 Packs of various Biscuits & 1 Packet of Juice Powder.

41% live in poverty in Uganda & it is amongst the poorest nations in the world with 75% of the 48 million population living in rural areas. The Covid-19 pandemic has exacerbated the poverty in Uganda. Many live in straw roofed mud built homes which have no electricity, water or sanitation. At least 20 million people DO NOT have access to clean water with much of Uganda is open water & swampland, which is undrinkable. This gives rise to water borne diseases.

As you know for the last 3 years I have facilitated Qurbanis in Uganda & have always wanted to go in person. Whilst out in Uganda insh'Allah we will also be hoping to open Water Wells, provide community meals, sweets for children, clothes for Orphans & the Poor. We hope to visit Hope for Mankind's Orphanage in the Capital city, Kampala.

The cost of living crisis & the sharp rise in global food prices has also affected the poorest nations like Uganda with food prices increasing multi-fold.

I have worked with Hope for Mankind which is a experienced registered charity for almost 2 years now & have facilitated 183 Water Pumps in Sindh, Pakistan for the Poor & Needy. They have impressed me with their timely & full feedback.

For almost 26 years I have Alhamdulillah been at the forefront of community & humanitarian initiatives at the local, national & international levels receiving national awards in the process. To date Alhamdulillah I have raised almost £750,000 for charitable causes both home & abroad. I have distributed in person Aid to the Turkey/Syria border on 7 occasions, the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, Iraqi refugees in war torn Mosul (Iraq), poverty stricken Malawi (Aftica), Pakistan Pre-Ramadan Deployments (March 2022 & 2023) & to refugees in France & Belgium all in the last 9 years. In addition, I have Alhamdulillah fundraised almost £53,000 from my 2020 Ramadan 10k Run & project managed 116 house transformation in Malawi & provided full video feedback for each house. Furthermore, £78,751 fundraised from my 2021 Ramadan 10K Run to build 63 New 2 Room Homes for Syrian Refugees in Northern Syria with full video feedback for each house. From my Ramadan 2022 fundraising I raised £66,559 to build 35 New Homes for the Poor in Sindh, Pakistan & from my 2023 Ramadan 10K Run I have raised so far £59,711 to build 36 New 2 Room Homes for the Poor in Uganda which I will be visiting.
