Story
At NavTrek we arrange and lead monthly wellbeing walks in
the Lake District to support people’s mental wellbeing through providing access to the outdoors whilst also raising money for local mental health charities.
For the next 3 months we will be raising money through our
walks for Lancashire Mind. Our special Christmas wellbeing walk will be taking place on Sunday the 6th of December 2020. This time, instead of a Lake District hike we will be taking part in the Lancashire Minds Mental Elf fundraiser with a 30km trek over the Lancashire fells.
We are putting together a team of 20 people and hope to
contribute 600km towards their 3226 virtual kilometres from Lancashire to Lapland!

Mental Elf has been running for a number of years and is our flagship fundraising event. This year we have made the difficult decision to not go ahead with a physical event for the health and safety of all our fundraisers, supporters, volunteers and staff. Lancashire Mind has lost and continues to lose significant income through cancelled fundraising events and challenges due to COVID-19. We need the support of people across Lancashire now more so than ever. We want to continue to be there for individuals and communities, supporting people of all ages to We support people of all ages to: learn about mental health and wellbeing, understand and look after their own and each other's mental health, take steps to maintain and improve their wellbeing, increase their ability to cope when times get tough and live independently in a safe and stable environment. Please donate today, support our amazing fundraisers and become a part of the wellbeing revolution.
