Story
7 years ago, a group of parents all met through their children starting in Mrs Tomlinson’s Reception class at St Michael’s Primary School in Flixton, Manchester. Within that first year of us all meeting, one of the mums, Nat, was diagnosed with a rare liver cancer and passed away suddenly after diagnosis. Now our little Reception children are in Year 6 and will be leaving St Michael’s in July to go to secondary school. We thought a fitting tribute to remember Billy’s beautiful mum, would be for the staff and Year 6 parents of St Michael’s to run one last Pretty Muddy race to raise money for CRUK in Nat’s memory.
Erin and I are also running for our beautiful friend Lorna who has recently been diagnosed with cancer. Too many people are affected by this horrible disease. In memory of Nat, in the fight for Lorna and all our loved ones affected by cancer let’s do this.
