** due to the weather - my jump has been postponed until March 10th**
Me - someone that struggles to come down after climbing a ladder, someone that hates fairground rides that have you plummeting to the ground face first have decided to throw myself out of a plane for charity!
I have set the target at £500 but lets be honest - I want to SMASH this!
WHY???... Here you go;-
So thankful to be in a completely different place to where I was this time last year. At the start of 2017, I hit rock bottom.
After a few of the worst months of my life, months of being mentally, physically and emotionally drained, not wanting to get out of bed to function with 'normal life', months of losing myself and my self- worth and being crippled by anxiety, I was diagnosed with having a mental breakdown. Depression and anxiety consumed my whole being, my mind would play tricks on me and would be in constant overdrive. Weight fell off and putting myself in any new situations where I all I needed to do was 'just be me' was a complete no go!
Massive gratitude to the best professionals that I have ever come across, after months of therapy I am rediscovering who I really am, life is so much better. No-one can ever say truly that they have the perfect life but I am now living one day at a time and am excited for what my future holds.
Its not always easy to find a way out. Its not easy to ask for help and knowing where to go and there is still such stigma surrounding mental health and thats why I want to support MIND.
I send so much love to those of you that have taken time to visit this page and shown support. With you behind me, of course I can do this!
