Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 1st & 2nd July we will be attempting to do the National Three Peaks Challenge which means climbing the highest mountain in Scotland, England and Wales in just 24 hours.

Unfortunately it seems like everyone you meet these days knows someone who has been touched by Cancer. Over the last few years we have lost three close family members and close friends but we also know what it feels like to be given a cancer diagnosis. In 2009 Sharon was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma. Thankfully it was caught soon enough and our story continues....

After this Sharon joined the Mold Committee of North West Cancer Research who work tirelessly all year fundraising for this worthwhile cause.  In 2014 Sharon became Chair of the Mold Committee .

Through the research, which is largely funded by charities such as North West Cancer Research, scientists are forming a better understanding of the causes of Cancer which in turn lead to new effective treatments. We are convinced that it is through research that one day we will beat Cancer.
