Story

Weve DONE Snowden now we peddle to Wales 💜🚲💜 THIS IS A GROUP FUND RAISING EVENT Liverpool to Conwy 70.2 MILES Hello Beautiful People 💛I hope all is good in the hood SOOO…. We’ve got a plan and we are hoping to get a few more boss people to come along and get involved. Me (Che✌🏾) and our kid Gareth have been chatting about getting on the bikes and flying up to Conwy as a little challenge for ourselves. But upon speaking to a few of our mates it seems to have snowballed into a fundraiser for a charity that has become close to our hearts the past couple of years 😊Like I said it’s all moved really quick and with a couple of boss heads jumping in like Andy, Sara, Ian & a few more to be confiremd, things have gone to new levels with ideas so we are buzzing with excitement to get on the road and would love you all to join us 🙌🏼 The bike ride itself is 70 miles and the last time I did this route it took around 7/8 hours. The PLAN:MEETING POINT : Dobbies, Speke 7am ON 12th August 2023 A quick chat and everyones on the same page. Numbers shared, stop off points confirmed. Everyone’s helmets checked and big start of hugs given. Then we jump on the peddlers and head to sunny Conwy 😎We have organised a van and driver to chaperone us along the route. At the 3 designated check points people can replenish water and snacks stored in the van. Also in the event of anyone needing assistance on a flatty for example some one is on hand to help 🤝 The idea is to stay the night in conwy, the YHA hostel is directly in Conwy and provides a place to get showered and refreshed and get our heads down after a long day on the bikes but people are welcome to sort their own accommodation etc. There are a number of camp sites in the local area with decent facilities attached so there is a few different options 👍🏼Over to SARA…When Che & Gareth messaged me about the bike ride asking if they could raise money for Nathaniel my immediate reaction was YES…. And then I asked if I could do it to! 😳I DONT EVEN HAVE A BIKE 😂 CANT REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I RODE ONE! But if it’s going to raise money for my cousin then I’m IN 🚲My cousin Lauren has been battling with the government & the NHS for the most of Nathaniels life. Although the support she gets is amazing there’s also support that is DENIED. It blows my mind that humans can deny treatment that can give a child a better life! That’s why we have to make it better! That’s why I’ll always get involved. That’s why we do what we do. To help 💜💛Lauren and Nathaniel’s Dad Jay are super hero’s. Their lives changed when Nathaniel got poorly but they have not give up and they fight back! Let’s help them fight too! We appreciate every pence donated! Thank you you boss , kind human being! We love you 🥰NOW Let’s go on a bike ride for Nathaniel 💜
