Story
Hello all.
As you may or may not have noticed, my face and head is covered with hair at the moment.
At the end of June, this is all set to change.
The company I work for, Jaywing, are hugely philanthropic, raising thousands of pounds every year for charities such as Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Cancer Research UK and Footsteps Centre. Currently, there is a focus on raising money for the Great Western Hospital's Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU).
SCBU is integral in treating and monitoring babies who are born prematurely, go through difficult deliveries or start off life with antenatal concerns. Additionally, the staff and midwives of SCBU support the parents of these children through a highly stressful time.
In order to raise money for this fantastic cause, I'm having a beard and mop chop. It'll take place at work, on a (hopefully) sunny day towards the end of June. I'll ensure its filmed, too, so you all can see my beautiful locks being butchered.
I don't really have a target fundraising goal, as such.
But know this.
If by the end of June, more than £200 has been raised... I'll throw in a leg waxing. Or two...
