Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Nathan Richtand tragically passed away whilst walking Scafell Pike in the Lake District. Fellow walkers and the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team (WMRT) did everything they could for Nathan and we'd like to raise some money in memory of Nathan to support WMRT.

WMRT provide search and rescue cover for the mountains and valleys of Wasdale and Eskdale in the western Lake District. They provide a free 24-hour, 365 days a year service to the public and are a registered charity who receive no government funding. All team members are unpaid volunteers. Money raised will not only go towards replacing ageing equipment and vehicles, but also costs such as utilities, fuel and maintenance.
