While I am an employee of SAY, I am also a person who stutters, and the work we do is very personal for me. I did not have a conversation with another person who stutters until my job interview at SAY. I had to learn to live with my stutter completely by myself as a child, and it was not easy.

SAY helps kids who stutter connect deeply with each other so they don't have to grow-up alone with their stutter, like I did. 

I can personally attest to the fact that SAY programs completely transform these kids lives, and give them a soaring new hope in life. Also! The majority of children we serve are from under-resourced and/or communities of color, so we are also fighting systemic racism. Win-win!
