In memory of Daniel Barker
Sir Ian Botham calls for support for DRWF. In a short video he asks for help to allow the charity to continue funding research, and supporting people living with diabetes, during a very tough time for UK charities.

Story

My best friend of 25 years recently passed away from diabetes aged 29!! The word legend gets past about a bit but this guy really was A LEGEND!! He was a genuine super hero and the godfather to my child Zackary who called him mate. He just made everyone around him better. Even though he had his own problems he still made time to comfort others without hesitation. He just always gave sound advice regardless of the situation and that’s a testimony to his character and who he was. Total selfless act and a kind loving soul.

Everybody loved him and will cherish the memories we shared together. A special mention goes to Daniel Holden and Callum Turner who will be sharing this journey with me.
