Some of you may know that we lost my wonderful mum last year, far too soon and far too quickly. The lovely people at LOROS were so amazing during mum's illness and not only supported the family greatly but also made us feel that we weren't going through it alone. 

Every year they help thousands of people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and I want to give something back for their kindness during one of our family's darkest times. 

You may know that I do love a little jog around the block on a regular occasion but a marathon is something I'm yet to conquer. It won't be easy, it won't be pretty but I'll be able to do it knowing I'm raising money for a wonderful cause. 

Your help makes all the difference. Thank you in advance and if someone could stand at the finish line with a glass of champagne for me that would be great.
