On a drunken Christmas night out I heard about 'Borneo the Ultimate Challenge' and said - I want to do that!!

'That' being to trek to the top of Mount Kinabalu - the highest peak in Malaysia, at just over 4000 metres, Cycle 110 miles and White water Raft down the Padas River.

The next day, with a killer hangover, it still sounded like a fab adventure and I signed up! 

So far training is going very well, with a 42 mile bike ride and several hikes under my belt I'm starting to feel fitter than ever and very excited about raising the money for The Rosemere Cancer Foundation and Rock FM cash for Kids!

They are fabulous charities that work hard to support people in situations that we may all find ourselves, friends or family in one day.

Me and two friends have also planned a Midsummer Charity Ball at Ribby Hall on the 20th June - so get in touch on tashaschofield@hotmail.com to book a ticket - the more the merrier!
